An enthralling time at the King’s Head in Horsham.

“Once more Mr Ernest Denny came to Horsham on Thursday and by his talent, without aid of music or costume, held his audience and moved it from gay to sad and back at will by the hold that his talent as a reciter and splendid memory confers upon him.

“The recital took place at the King’s Head Assembly Room at 8 p.m. under the auspices of the Y.M.C.A. Literary and Debating Society, the selections occupying the three-part programme proving all that could be wished for.”
