“A Record March Rainfall. According to the records taken in the Manor House by Mr H. Padwick, JP, the rainfall in March (spread over 23 days) amounted to 5.06 inches.

“As far as is known, this is the heaviest fall recorded in Horsham for March.

“Last year 3.15, the year before 4.58 and in 1911 1.83.”
