There was plenty of interest in keeping the troops in Horsham entertained.

“In conjunction with their scheme for providing recreation for the troops, another successful concert was given by the Y.M.C.A. at their new rooms at Roffey (under the direction of Private Bert Edgar, the well-known comedian) on Thursday night.

“The packed ‘house’ showed how highly these concerts are appreciated.”
