The regiment mentioned was the Prince Albert’s Own Hussars who charged with the Light Brigade in the Crimena War.

“Military Tatoo: A splendid programme has been arranged in Horsham Park (by kind permission of Mrs Hurst) for August Bank Holiday by the Horsham Troop of the Sussex Yeomanry in aid of nursing associations and the local troop fund.

“Perhaps the chief feature of the tournament will be the historical musical ride and cavalry gymkhana by H.M XI (P.A.O.) Hussars, as given at Hurlingham.”
