An appeal for everyone to behave and be responsible.

“Horsham Petty Sessions: There was a long list of cases but transaction of business was precded by an appeal by the justices.

“Mr Rigg: ‘At this crisis in our nation’s history we, the justices of the peace for this Division appeal to all citizens and especially to our neighbours, to do nothing which can possibly lead to a breach of the peace and to conduct themselves as sober law-abiding Englishmen.

“The police who have lost several constables who are Reservists and look for assistance from everyone to enlighten their labours as much as possible.”
