Have your say

The question of ‘breaching the 4th Commandment’ has been raised before, but perhaps not as vehemently.

“Dear sir, I beg to offer my sincere protest to the suggestion of Mr J. E. Barnard that the Rifle Range be opened on Sundays.

“Most emphatically do I say better not know how to shoot at all than desecrate the Lord’s Day by practising then.

“I presume that none but an infidel will deny but that victory and defeat are in the hands of the Lord, how then can we expect His blessing upon would be a direct breach of the 4th Commandment... H.J. Piggott, Horsham”
