LITTLEHAVEN rail crossing has closed this afternoon (Wednesday December 2) following an accident in which a mobility scooter ended up under a train.
A man was injured in the incident and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The air ambulance was at the scene.
The train was pulling into Littlehaven station when the man and scooter ended up on the track.
Commuters this evening could face delays as the debris is cleared.
