THE eighth MicroBiz event was held in The Drill Hall, Horsham, on Saturday and has been hailed by sponsors, exhibitors and visitors alike as by far the best yet.
So much so, Twitter has been ablaze with positive feedback and emails have been flooding in to organisers at Horsham District Council.

"This year's MicroBiz Fair was a huge tribute to the energy and enthusiasm of Horsham district's small business
community," said Roger Paterson, cabinet member for local economy and leisure.

"Not only was the fair buzzing with business and networking activity but many of the seminars were also booked out.

"What's more, there was a 75 per cent increase in visitor numbers this year - which is the best possible statement of future confidence in the Horsham local economy."

MicroBiz is Horsham's annual event for small, home-based and start-up businesses and a record number of visitors attended this year's event, with almost 600 business visitors counted in through the front doors.

Added to which, were the 43 exhibitors in the hall, with their teams of up to six people, all busy networking and promoting their wares.

Horsham MicroBiz was officially opened by John Peel, who chairs the West Sussex Economic, Skills and Enterprise Board, and is a long time champion of MicroBiz, thanked all the sponsors and seminar speakers as well as the exhibitors and visitors.
