End of 'mini heatwave' in sight

HEATWAVE struck Horsham district will see more seasonal temperatures starting tomorrow (Wednesday July 1).
The district has been basking in 30degC heat for the last two days, but by Saturday the temperature is expected to have dropped ten degrees.

The Met Office forecast is for 21degC late this evening, dropping to around 17degC for the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Top temperature for tomorrow and Thursday is expected to be around 26degC, but it will then drop steadily as the weekend approaches.

The Met Office issued its first Heat-Health Watch warning since 2006 on Sunday (June 28).
