FIRE crews were called to Storrington last night after the driver of a BMW crashed into a stream.
The 23-year-old from West Chiltington collided with a tree in Fryern Road at around 11pm.

The driver managed to escape from the vehicle unharmed.

Firefighters from Storrington and Worthing attended the scene.

Heavy rescue tender was used to lift the car from the river as there were fears engine oil could leak into the water.
