Safety fears
I AM WRITING regarding the parking of cars on the yellow zig-zag lines outside Horsham's Greenway School. I pick my granddaughter up three days a week from the school and as I am retired I get there early so get a space just by the lines.
By 3.20 the road is full on both sides of parents awaiting their children, but then at the same time two cars arrive and park on the lines that are meant to protect the children when crossing the road.
I have told them not to park there. I have also been to the school to complain. I have seen children dodging the cars to cross the road and I fear that an accident is waiting to happen.
I hope this letter will prick the consciences of the drivers concerned.
