OUTRIGHT Mid Sussex Tory winners, Acraman and Griffiths, state 'this was enough to again reduce the Conservative vote to allow a Lib Dem to win by 43' allowing 'an extremist party to facilitate the election of a Lib Dem lady, who must be embarrassed to know that she partly owes her election to actions of the BNP' ('Unintended voting consequences', County Times letters, June 12).
Outright party-political nonsense from two bad losers, methinks.
My congratulations to the 'Lib Dem lady', Anne Hall, who I'm sure is not 'embarrassed' at all by her victory over the Haywards Heath East Tory candidate.
