Letter: Lack of facilities in Storrington
I AM WRITING to ask why there are no public toilets in Storrington?
It is a very picturesque village, has two ponds, pretty walks, interesting shops and cafés. It is only spoilt by the amount of traffic that passes through the village.
I have mentioned to people to travel by the service 100 bus to visit Storrington as it also travels through lovely scenery and interesting villages, ie Henfield, Small Dole, Bramber and Steyning.
The point I want to make is why are there no much-needed toilets as the elderly folk and mothers with young children need this facility.
I believe the council had new toilets built and a new bus shelter a few years ago in Steyning.
There are public toilets in Henfield, also in Bramber, all, I believe, under the same district council. So why none or a bus shelter in Storrington?
