Cancer care
May I, through your letters page, thank the very generous people of Horsham who contributed towards our Marie Curie Cancer Care Christmas collections outside Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s. We collected the fabulous sum of £1,868.43.
These contributions will help our nurses to be able to provide high quality hands-on nursing care for the terminally ill in their own home, together with vital emotional support for the patient and family at that very difficult time. I would finally like to pay tribute to the wonderful volunteers who stood out in the freezing cold to do the collections. Thank you very much.
