DO YOU think enough is being done for cyclists in the Horsham district?

Cyclists get maligned for riding on pavements and yet there have been some tragic incidents in which people on bikes in the area have had serious accidents when on main roads.

Should there be more cycle routes, should there be more racks for people to park their bikes during the day?

What do you think? Add your comment below.

Yes, we need more encouragement for cyclists. Here are a couple of ideas:
- better cycle lanes for routes into town eg North Heath Lane/Wimblehurst Road
- easier cross-town links: you can't easily (legally) stay on your bike coming from the station area through to the library/Sainsbury's etc
- what about the Horsham to Crawley route? Years ago there was talk of making a crossing over the A264 (beside the railway line), but nothing has happened.
Vive la cycling!

The idea of a separate Horsham Town Council has created much debate recently. Do you think:
Horsham should have its own town council.
The current system of neighbourhood councils should remain
Not interested in who looks after the town.
