A SERIES of free master class evenings are to be held for businesses in the Horsham district.
Organised by Horsham District Council, the first of these new and innovative events will take place in Horsham on Thursday June 12 and is aimed at young, start up and home based businesses.
The event follows on from the outstanding success of this year's Microbiz and promises a great line up of fascinating top tips and advice from professional industry experts Emma Jones and Sarah Hatswell.
The first part of the evening will focus on specific issues that affect home business start ups and will be hosted by Emma Jones, founder and editor of Enterprise Nation.
Emma's first book 'Spare Room Start Up - how to start a business from home' was published in May 2008 and chosen as Waterstones business book of the month.
Leading the second part of the evening is Sarah Hatswell, joint founding partner of Sovereign Credit Management, who will tell her inspirational story of how she started a home based business and has watched it grow organically over the last 16 years to become one of the most respected and profitable companies in the credit sector.
There will be plenty of opportunity for networking with fellow colleagues in various industries and Horsham District Council is pleased to confirm that many of the 2008 Microbiz exhibitors will be attending.
Places for this free to attend event are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, by invitation. Light refreshments will be provided.
