A TODDLER is making a 'miracle recovery' after being knocked down by a motorbike and being left with a fractured skull.
Little Charlie Robinson was airlifted to hospital for emergency treatment after being struck by the high-powered motor on the A23 on Wednesday (May 14).

The three-year-old tot, who was with his mum, was knocked down while crossing Brighton Road in
the direction of The Avenue, having just left Church Road, Horley at 3.30pm.

The child was flown to London Royal Hospital by air ambulance with a fractured skull, chest and internal injuries.

Paramedics treated the biker for a suspected fractured collarbone, but the rider was allowed to go home.

A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 3.50pm on Wednesday (May 14) to a road traffic collision on the A23 Brighton Road in Horley. One patient, a three-year-old child was taken by air ambulance to Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. No other parties were taken to hospital."
