Crash on Handcross Hill

TWO cars were involved in a smash on the northbound carriage way on Handcross Hill this morning.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene at 7.45 am and two people with neck pains were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

One lane was closed while emergency crews attanded to the accident.

The crash caused hour long delays with traffic backing up to the Bolney exit of the A23.
