Plate-spinning and dance workshops were some of the activities on offer at the first-ever family fun day in Lavant.
Families from around the area took part in the free event at Lavant Memorial Hall, organised by the Chichester and District Council for Voluntary Service as a way of helping strengthen the community.
Vicki Brown, a rural community development worker for Chichester and District Council for Voluntary Service said it was fantastic.
She said: "It went really well.
"We had a good attendance with people coming from all over the district. The day was a pilot project and we are hoping local people will get involved in it and run it each year."
