Body of woman in Littlehampton lake identified

THE body of a woman found in Littlehampton's Mewsbrook Park on Thursday afternoon has been formally identified as that of 81-year-old Vera Clevett.
Ms Clevett, of St Catherines Road, Littlehampton, was last seen near her home between 5pm and 6pm on Wednesday, October 1, and reported missing.


Her body was discovered shortly before 4pm. Police say they are not treating her death as suspicious.
